Our Backyard Friends
We cannot forget our little feathered friends at Christmas.
Every time I look out my window during the winter, I think of God taking care of the birds.
We help out too...
In addition to the regular bird seed in the bird feeders, we keep our waterfall running during the winter so it will not freeze over and the birds will have water to drink.
Also we put out pinecones smeared with peanut butter and raisins.
We purchase suet cakes (so much easier than making your own) and we keep those tacked on trees.
We put out oranges and apples from time to time also.
