With a timid voice and

idolizing eyes,

the little boy greeted

his father as he

returned from work.

"Daddy, how much do

you make every hour?"

Greatly surprised and

giving his boy a glaring

look, the father said;

"Not even your mother

knows that!

Why don't you go play

now? I 'm tired."

"But Daddy,

just tell me please !!

How much do you make

in one hour?"

the boy insisted.

The father finally

giving up, replied:

"I make twenty dollars

an hour,"

"Okay, Daddy."

After a brief pause the

little boy asked,

"Daddy, can I have

ten dollars?"

the boy asked.

Showing his restlessness

and annoyance,

the father yelled;

"So that was the reason

you asked how much

I earn?

Cause you wanted some

money?

It 's getting dark and

it 's time for bed.

Why don't you go to

bed now?"

It got darker and the

father was thinking

about his son and he

was feeling a little

guilty.

Maybe, he thought,

his son really needed

something.

Finally, trying to ease

his mind, the father

went to his son's room.

"Are you asleep?"

asked the father.

"No Daddy. Why?"

Replied the boy,

partially asleep.

"Here's the money

you asked for earlier,

"the father said.

"Thanks Daddy!"

rejoiced the son,

while putting his hand

under his pillow and

removig some money.

"Now I have enough!

Now I have

twenty dollars!

the boy said to his father.

"Here you go Daddy.

Here's my $20.00.

Now will you be with Me

for one hour?"
